Comedians Luenell and Michael Colyar were noticeable celebrity standouts at the Kani Kouture Fashion Show kicking of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week held at Club Ritual in the heart of Hollywood.
The event was hosted by urban artist Kia Shine (So Krispy) who also caused a media flurry. A few beats after his arrival a posse of gorgeous models arrived with Krispy Crème donuts for the media and they immediately took center red carpet spotlight.
All of the paparazzos were grabbing for the sweets and the treats.
There were lots and lots of hotties in the house strutting the new Kani Kouture line for Fall.
Fashion trends reflected daring Middle Eastern signature accents such as the white and red Palestinian scarf draped around some of the male models necks. It was refreshing to see a line that was practical and perfect for the average consumer.
Kani is rapidly becoming a recognized name in urban street wear placing him on the cutting edge of the fashion world. Kani Kouture is now available in Saks retail stores nationwide.

The music was pulsating, drinks flowed all night and beautiful, stunning gorgeous people were seen everywhere. Celebrity guests had the distinguished honor of being appropriately seated and served under the open roof top area of the club, exposing a panoramic view of the stars. The party was so Krisp, so cool, so crème de la crème.

Shortly after MTV News reported Monday that The Game had been released from jail eight days into his 60-day sentence due to overcrowding, the rapper’s manager released a statement calling the report false, and claimed he was merely transferred to another detention facility.
However, MTV reported Wednesday that a rep for the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, where The Game was serving his sentence on gun charges, has confirmed that he was released from custody on March 9 at 11:34 p.m. and is indeed a free man.
When asked if the rapper was transferred upon his release, the rep explained that the inmate’s status would reveal where he was transported. Game’s information only states he was released, which indicates that he is still free.
The Compton rap star walked into the Twin Towers facility on March 2 to begin a sentence for a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.
VH1 has reportedly given a green-light to “Interracial Love,” a reality show about a white male looking to find an African American girlfriend.
Writer “Lynn” of VH1realityworld.com says the show will start casting in June for a fall 2008 premiere. The series will follow Tobias White and his two bi-racial sons Marcus and Zachary as they look to add a wife and mother to the family.
In an interview with Lynn last July, White explained his preference for black women. “I’m a white male and I’ve always dated only black women. I just always have,” he said. “It’s not that I’m prejudiced against my own race, but it just seemed a better fit for me. And now I have two children that are bi-racial.
“I’ve seen so many shows like the Bachelor and now Age of Love, The Rock of Love and Joe Millionaire. They always have 19 or 20 white women on the show and they’ll have one black woman. It’s almost like it was set up for the black woman to get voted off.
“To me, with the mother of my kids being black, I think it’s a disrespectful thing. And I was just thinking one day about a year ago that this would be a good reality show. Me and my sons want a good woman in our lives, and who better to help me find my Queen, than my sons? Who knows me better than my sons?”
